I found out that many singaporeans are eating turtles as their dinner and lunch dishes.. most popular eaten turtles are eared eared sliders, soft shelled turtles, and even snake head turtles.. i went to many markets in singapore, and was shocked to find that turtles that are sold for restaurant tables are mostly found in the town side of singapore, like chinatown.. when i got to a market near chinatown, i saw many juvenile or roughly big red eared sliders kept in cages..each cage containing at least 10 to 20 live red eared sliders. the space was seriously cramped. the soft shelled turtles are all stuffed into ann empty pail, all waiting to be sold or killed on the spot. what shocked me most was when i saw the man selling them just use a knife and a sharp metal equipment cutting open the shell of a red eared slider, and digging and slicing the flesh out of a live red eared slider, while it just screeched and groaned in pain... this was consequently done the same to other turtles, frogs and fishes that were sold there.. i just cannot bear to see these people doing things like this just to satisfy their eating needs.. there are so many things they could eat, but why must they purposely breed turtles and other creatures just to kill and eat them? the reason they give is that the population of these creatures are overly populated, so they have to reduce the number of these creatures.. but seriously, they are the ones that breed them out of greed! please give me your views, thanks.

Will Panacur cause diarrhea in my puppy?

My puppy is 11 weeks and 3 days ago was diagnosed with 'whip worms'. The doctor gave us panacur to help rid him of these worms. The first day I forgot his medication at work, yesterday night I gave him his first dose, today I misplaced his medication and when I got home from work he had diarrhea all over the bathroom. What do i do about someone forging my signature on 2 legal documents and having them notarised?

Here’s the situation, About 3 weeks ago I posted my car as for sale on craigslist and had a seemingly interested buyer contact me asking to come see the car the next day. When he got there he immediately tried to low ball me and talk me down from my asking price which a lot of people do but I was firm on the $2000 that I was asking. He finally agreed to pay me my asking price after trying to tell me there was something wrong with me transmission which was not true. However, I did not have title in hand because it was misplaced when I moved but is a clean title which he made sure of by calling the DMV and giving them my VIN number to run the title he knew all this before he came to buy the car. So we were going to sign a legal document called an MVR 4 form where I signed my name as the seller of the car and he signs his name as the buyer and have it notarised so the new title would be mailed to him in his name. Well, turns out he only had $1890 to give me that day and I desperately needed the money. So I wasn’t signing the title over until I got the rest of my money and my tags back which is was nice enough and apparently in this case dumb enough to let him use to drive the car back to where he was going but not before I drew a contract up stating that he was to meet me the next day with the remaining balance of $110 on the car and my tags and at that time I would sign the legal document making the car his. 2 weeks went by every day I called and left voice mails and text messages he never returned any of my calls or text messages, so my final message was that I was taking him to court. I didn’t know his address so I spent 4 days tracking him down online to find his address so papers could be served. Before I got a chance to file a law suit 2 men showed up at my home with a legal, notarised MVR 4 form with MY signature on it as well as the man who “bought” my car. I DID NOT sign that form or any other form other than the contract that I drew up previously for the man to meet me for my money and tags. So this man forged my signature on a 2 legal documents; the MVR 4 form and a new bill of sale to give to this man that he SOLD MY car to because the car is still in my name. Not to mention he had the legal document with my forged signature notarised and a notary cannot notarise a document without BOTH parties there with picture ID. So, I need to know what I can do. Obviously I’m guessing sue the hell out of the man who bought my car and the notary. I just need some legal advice. The men who bought my car from the scammer is also suing the man for the money he paid him for the car and falsifying a legal document. The men who bought my car told me I could come get my car at any time but I need legal advice before I do ANYTHING. Would you complain to your boss if you are receiving more work than what you were hired to do?

I was hired as a receptionist for very little pay despite having a BA degree. Head boss made sure I knew this was only a receptionist position hence the low pay. Elderly mother in law being very stubborn...?

My mother in law's health and memory have been declining in recent years. My husband and his sister have been helping her with household and personal matters such as groceries, pay bills... but things have gotten worse, she would forget to hang up the phone (or pushes the wrong button), misplace her TV remote, eye glasses, panicked over running out of cough drops ...little things like that that she cannot resolve herself and my husband or his sister will have to drop everything and drive 45 min ~ 90 min (one way) to help her. She fiercely rejected the idea of having a nurse come over everyday to check up on her, although my husband and his sister visit her every weekend and help her with stuffs, but we all have our own life to take care of and sometimes it is difficult to be always at stand by. Needless to say, she also rejected to move closer to her daughter so it's easier to care for her. If you have cravings for food, and you're actually hungry, then eat a little, but if you aren't hungry, just have some water. Or celery. It has negative calories, so it's kinda like eating nothing.

Severe foot/ankle pain?

Back in April, I had an accident where I sliced open the top of my foot. I got stitches, and everything seemed okay. Within a few days of getting the stitches, the wound got infected with staph and it turned into cellulitis. Since then, I have been hospitalized twice for this and given antibiotics so often I'm likely immune to them all by now. The infection has cleared up, but here's the problem. Once the swelling goes down, it only stays that way for a week or so. I'm able to work without pain (I'm a chef) and things are great. Out of the blue, my ankle will begin to swell up on its own, with no new injury other than being on my feet at work. The doctors have done x-rays, MRI's, sonograms, and a few other things to determine what is wrong, but all tell me it is just in my head. I find this unnacceptable since my ankle looks like a grapefruit and is nearly impossible to walk on when it swells up. I should note that I do have flat feet, and have never really had much trouble with them until recently. Ever since April when the initial accident occurred, my ankle has had a mind of its own, swelling up and running its course for a week or more before I'm able to stand/walk pain-free. I have tried looking up different things to try pinpointing a cause but come up short. Any help with this would be great since it is really starting to get on my nerves.

I'm 15 and am currently attending a high school continuation program that is an online class. I failed algerbra 1 and barely got out of algerbra readiness in the 8th grade with a C-. I have been horrible in math since the 2nd grade but thanks to our horrible educational system, they passed me again all the way to high school. People say logical thinkers are usually good in math. Here's the thing. I AM a logical thinker. I can identify solutions to real world problems others can't see. I don't get why nothing ever clicks to me in math. I can't improve. I never get better. I forget things very easily and even if I take notes, when I get home, the notes look like someone else wrote them. I HATE studying because to me it never works. And I don't like being tutored by my brother. It's just the way I am. My brother is EXTREMELY smart in math but I hate being tutored by him. One of the things that REALLY REALLY PISSES ME OFF about math is how frustrating it is to me. My anger issues get in the way of me trying to solve a problem. I often get to the point of breaking things and have to calm myself down in class whenever I raise my fist to smash my desk with. When I was at school last semester my dorm didn't have wireless internet, but also didn't allow use of your own router. Pressure Equalization Tube for Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (ear congestion/pressure)?

About a year ago I suffered what seemed at that the time to be a minor injury to the jaw area. However, since then I have had congestion and sometimes pressure in the ear on the same side as the jaw injury. I have tried a variety of things which have not helped, and it is very frustrating. Sometimes eating or drinking some water seems to give temporary relief. I have noticed that my jaw will sometimes click which leads me to believe that I developed TMJ from the injury, and the jaw is likely slightly misplaced, causing the eustachian tube dysfunction. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with ear tubes or sometimes called pressure equalization tubes. I am considering this as an option, but I don't want to take a big risk especially if it won't help the problem. If you have had a similar experience, any information or advice would be great. I have already been to several ENTs so please do not suggest that I see one. I am looking more for your experience or knowledge of this issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In Texas waitresses make like $2-something an hour (tipped employees get paid a lot less in other states) and in California they make regular minimum wage that is required to be the same for tipped or not tipped employees. How come the standard tip is like 15-20% in both states? I would think that you should tip more in Texas because the way that it is set up assumes that those waitresses receive tips to cover their pay. And everything I read online about why we tip at restaurants in the first place has to do with how the servers are underpaid because we are supposed to tip and make up the difference. But this isn't the case in California, so why is the tip standard the same?

Can I register my car in Alaska even though I'm not a resident?

I drove my car to Alaska from Massachusetts and I want to put it in storage there for a year or so, and fly back east. Keeping the car insured and registered in Massachusetts will require getting out-of-state garaging insurance, which will be more expensive than it's worth for a parked car. I'm wondering if, even though I don't live there, I can register and insure my car in Alaska to avoid out-of-state garaging. Also, I have a Mass driver's license. On a related note: will I have to then get my title transferred to Alaska? I don't have an address in Alaska, and also I seem to have temporarily misplaced it. Thanks for any help!

it, accidently smashed it into a metal pole. When I had first dislocated it at 18, I had gone to the doctor to have water taken out of it twice. It don't know if my patella is misaligned now or not. To the left of my knee my leg has been swollen for quite awhile now. I don't know what this is. My knee for the most part is functional. I can walk, Thank God. I just wanted to ask, how do I know if my patella is misaligned or not? And what could that swelling be? Could it just be muscle and tendon that is misplaced, because my right knee has never been injured and it isn't swollen-looking on the outside of it like my left knee is. My right knee looks fine, but they don't look alike. Is there anyway to have this swelling go away or removed, so that both knees look alike?

Medical professionals..why do people say that?

It seems like nurses are pretty well paid, but they work hard and put up with a lot of ****. They empty bedpans, wipe your butt, have to write down everything they do, and are at the mercy of hospital administration. It's pretty demanding, and they should get paid twice what they do. As in any other field, there are slackers though.

My sons school isn't following his IEP?

My 14 year old son is practically failing out of the 8th grade because the IEP that was agreed upon at our last review is not being followed. He isn't getting after school help twice a week, and they are supposed to not allow him on the bus on those two days. He has 2 classes that are intended for helping him get organized and turn in work that he may have "misplaced" or "forgot" to turn in to his teachers, yet he is failing 2 classes and only has 2 weeks left of school.
